Welder / Fabricator 

· $40 p/h + Super

· Work on a range of interesting custom builds

· Full time hours from day one, progressing to permanent employment




About the Client:

Our client is a WA owned fabrication business specialising in the build and fit out of custom Horse Floats, RV’s and Boats. As a small business should, they prioritise providing high quality solutions for their customers in a timely manner.




About the Role:

Due to ever increasing demand, they are currently looking to add a Fabricator / Welder to their team. The role will see you work alongside the owner and various contracted trades when required, building new chassis and customising almost anything that can be towed!

The role doesn’t require Fabrication certifications, however experience with reading basic drawings, measuring, cutting and MIG welding is essential (up to 5mm). Additionally, you will need to be someone who takes care with your work and has an eye for detail, as small errors can throw the entire job out.

You will be provided plenty of support and educated on their way of doing things. The role would be perfect for someone coming from a trailer building background or similar.

  What do we ask from you?

·        Be there every day, on time

·        Previous fabrication / MIG welding experience

·       Understand drawings and follow instructions – important with custom work

·        Experience with measuring and cutting to size

·        Good temperament, happy to help find solutions

·        Eye for detail and takes pride in their work

·        Driver licence
