About the client
Our client is a WA family-owned producer and distributor of premium vehicle washing and protection chemicals and accessories. For more than 10 years they have supplied the Perth automotive market with top tier products and established themselves as the go to in the market. They are currently looking for a well-rounded warehouse coordinator with an ownership mentality to manage their warehouse based in Malaga. This role has significant growth potential for someone looking to take on more responsibility as they learn the business, people and processes.

About the role
The day-to-day of this role will be diverse in nature and will see the successful applicant be responsible for stock management, picking and packing orders, organising delivery runs based on existing schedule, loading / unloading stock and customer liaising. The business values its people and their ideas highly, working alongside the Managing Director, you will have scope to bring in new ideas and collaborate on the best way to run the warehouse.

Naturally in a role of this scope in a small business, you will need to be organised and have good communication skills – especially as the role grows.

Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have previous warehouse experience, preferably in a fast-moving environment. A proactive, organised and process driven mindset will be key to flourishing in the role, additionally you will need to be happy to get in and do some work – this is not an office-based role where you are telling others what to do.

You will need to have relative physical fitness as some of the stock containers weigh up to 20kg. The role requires an Aus Drivers Licence (manual preferred) and any applicants with an MR Licence will be looked upon favourably.

Finally, you will need to have a positive attitude and be happy working alongside other members of the team in a harmonious manner.

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Clear communicator with ability to maintain and grow customer relationships
  • Drivers Licence (MR preferred) and LF with experience
  • Computer literacy
