The Role:
We are looking for an experienced and trade qualified Machinist to work locally in a workshop environment. Operating CNC machines including but not limited to, Siemens ShopTurn, Siemens ShopMill & Okuma Lathes to produce custom components for fixed plant, mining equiment, shafts, and flanges.
The successful applicant will enjoy a flexible work arrangement, in a tidy modern and safe workshop.
Are you the right person?
- Recognised Australian trade qualification
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Ability to set up, operate and program CNC machines
- Experience with G Code highly regarded
- Experience with Okuma machines highly regarded
- Working with top tier CNC machines
- Independent workload management
- Exposure to various machines and opportunity to learn.
- Flexible work hours
- Local work... Perfect for someone that's qualified and transitioning out of FIFO or even semi retirement.
