Trade Assistant - Mechanical
· $41.90 per hour + super + penalties

· Full time hours Monday to Friday
About the Role:
This role will see the successful candidate assisting Heavy Duty Mechanics with all aspects of upkeep on our client’s plant and equipment. The day to day may see you involved in fueling, greasing, servicing and repairing at a minimum. Joining a well-established, long-term team based in Red Hill, the role has the potential to progress to permanency for candidates showing the right attributes.
Who are we looking for?
First and foremost, you must be capable of fitting into the current workplace environment, enjoy working alongside others and be willing to be part of the team. A mechanical mindset with some experience working on vehicles / machinery is ideal, even if this has been through hobbies rather than in the workplace. Any experience with pumps will be looked upon favourably, however not necessary. A level of physical fitness is required for lifting, as well as getting in and under plant and equipment. Finally, a HR licence, as well as a Forklift ticket and experience are necessary to be considered for the role.

· Forklift Ticket (LF) and experience

· Previous experience with mechanical work
· National Police Clearance
· Willing to listen to instruction and work in a team
· Experience with pumps preferred
