About the Client:

Our client is an independent supplier of end-to-end laboratory solutions to the big players in the mining industry. Their “one stop shop” model has generated a consistent customer across Australia and internationally. Their services include anything from design, delivery, install and commissioning of custom laboratories, to mineral processing equipment and consumables supply. Additionally, they will often procure items outside of their product offering for international customers to minimise complicated imports into unstable countries.

About the Role:

The Warehouse / Stores role will see the successful applicant take ownership of a vast range of tasks within the warehouse. Key daily operations include preparing orders for dispatch through picking, packing, labelling and wrapping pallets, operating the 3T forklift to unload / load trucks, organising the relevant order paperwork and managing stock levels. As many of their sales are to customers overseas, it is business critical to be detailed oriented.

Who are we looking for?

Being an autonomous role, we are looking for someone who is self-driven and is likes to take ownership over their work, and the warehouse environment in general. A high attention to detail is required to ensure orders are delivered correctly, in full, and with the right paperwork. Whilst there will be training and plenty of support available, the goal is for this role to operate without the presence of constant supervision. Computer literacy is a must as the successful candidate will be using an ERP system such as MYOB to track stock movements etc. Any DG experience is a plus; however, you will also receive formalised external training in this area.

Finally, they have an amazing culture! Staff who get in and do their work but enjoy themselves at the same time. The successful applicant will have the personality to fit into this and contribute positively!
