The Role:
My client is one of Perth’s leading Fabrication companies specialising in the provision and installation of unique pieces for projects across both Industrial and Architectural applications.

Based at their Welshpool Workshop, they are currently looking to add experienced Fabricators to their team. Employment will start on a casual basis (full-time hours) with the aim of progressing to a full-time, permanent contract with the client after 6-months.

Must be Trade Certified MIG and TIG skilled welders with extensive experience fabricating stainless steel Balustrading & Handrails.

 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding to fabricate small and large handrails and banister rails.
  • Fabricating framing from start to finish and able to interpret engineering drawings, sketches and specifications to fabricate a variety of stainless-steel components and products.
  • Handle sheet metal and tubular materials, ensuring correct placement and fixturing.
  • Perform related tasks, such as cutting, grinding, rolling etc.
  • Ensure the product is of acceptable quality and by specification.
  • Conduct quality control checks.
  • Work with various metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
About You
  • You will take pride in your work, have excellent attention to detail and able to conduct quality control.
  • You will maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • You must be reliable with a good attitude and work with a strong commitment to WHS and safe work practices.
  • It's advantageous to have the ability to operate a range of fabrication equipment including press brakes, guillotines, and MIG/TIG welding machines.
Note: Short listed candidates will be required to perform a Weld Test at Interview.
