About the Role:
Our client is one of Perth’s most trusted Sheet Metal Fabrication shops. Based in Welshpool, their name in the market has been built on supplying and installing products of the highest quality to customers throughout metro and regional Western Australia.
With a surge in infrastructure projects across the state and their already increasing workload, they are looking to add experienced Sheet Metal Workers to their team. There are multiple roles available to suit potential candidates, Perth based in the workshop as well as installation roles requiring travel to sites across the state.
In the workshop, the hours and environment are family friendly and would best suit applicants looking for a steady and secure role allowing them to be home with their family each night – with the bonus of early finishes on Fridays for added downtime.
To be considered for these roles, you must have either a Cert III Engineering (Fab) or extensive experience in workshop sheet metal fabrication. It is an expectation that applicants are skilled in all aspects of fabrication, not limited to – interpreting workshop drawings, cutting, folding, rolling, welding and finishing pieces fabricated from galvanised steel, stainless steel and aluminium to name a few .

What do we ask from you?
- Cert III Engineering – Fabrication – or extensive experience with sheet metal
- Workshop environment experience
- Pride yourself on quality of work
- Ability to conduct all aspects of fabrication
- Accountability to QA work and highlight what needs improving
- Happy to go and complete local installs when required
- Hold a C Class Drivers Licence (WA)
- Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space tickets preferred but not essential
- Read and interpret drawings – problem solve when required
- Good communicator
- Be reliable and personable
- Must be able to pass Drug and Alcohol Screen, and Pre-Employment Medical
