Quality Assurance Officer / Meat & Smallgoods

Our client is a family-owned producer and distributor of premium smallgoods to retailers and hospitality outlets across the whole of WA. Their passion for providing high-quality products and outstanding customer service has been passed down through three generations and led to an ever-increasing customer book. Currently, they are looking to add an experienced QA Officer to their production team, based out of their newly renovated Wangara site.
About the Role:
The day to day of this role will be diverse in nature. From the quality assurance of smallgoods, to streamlining workflows through effective planning and management, it will be your responsibility to work alongside production managers and warehouse staff to ensure goods are maintained to the highest standard.
Naturally, there will be a big emphasis on the preparation and maintenance of all relevant documents relating to HACCP and auditing, while ensuring maintained and accurate QA records and reports. The client is willing to offer full-time or part-time hours to accommodate those who want a certain work-life balance.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate would have experience in the QA and meat manufacturing space, with relevant certification. An understanding of HACCP will be looked upon favourably. We will be looking for someone who is a good communicator that can help grow team culture, all while having subtle influence over process improvement.
