The Opportunities:
With the continued growth in Perth’s manufacturing industry, we currently have multiple Fabrication clients looking to add skilled and reliable employees to their teams. Currently, there are several opportunities available ranging from basic Second-Class Welding, right through to Architectural Fabrication roles requiring extensive experience and skillsets.

All openings are workshop based and do not require travel outside of the Perth Metro area, making them perfect for those preferring a lifestyle that allows you to be in your own home every night.

We have both long-term, temp to perm roles (casual period on full time hours with progression to permanent employment at the client) that are suitable for residents, and short-term casual roles suited more to applicants on Working Holiday Visas.

Key Responsibilities – Role Dependent:
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding to various metal types
  • Ability to fabricate framing from start to finish and able to interpret engineering drawings, sketches and specifications
  • Perform related tasks, such as cutting, grinding and rolling
  • Ensure the product is of acceptable quality and to specification
  • Conduct quality control checks
  • Work with various metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
About You
  • First and foremost - you must be reliable with a good attitude and work with a strong commitment to WHS and safe work practices
  • Take pride in your work, have excellent attention to detail and able to conduct quality control
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Previous experience welding or fabricating relative to the roles available
  • For some roles, the ability to operate a range of fabrication equipment including press brakes, guillotines, and CNC Plasma / Oxy Cutting Machines will be looked upon favourably
Note: For some roles, shortlisted candidates will be required to perform a Weld Test at Interview.
