About the Client:
Our client is a leading manufacturer of windows, doors and screens for WA’s fast growing building industry. They are looking to bolster their team with an experienced CNC Operator to carry out the manufacturing of hinges and lock fit outs in our varying range of aluminium doors.
 
About the Role:
The role is suited to someone with a sharp attention to detail to ensure the machine and settings are correct. The client uses an Alumach Emmegi CNC machine that is programmed with CAMplus and Driver CAD. Majority of the programming is preset, but previous knowledge on how to interpret drawings and program will be looked upon favourably as the client receives custom lock requests from time to time.

In addition to CNC operation, it will be your responsibility to ensure the machine is well maintained, there will also be small periods you will assist the team with sub-processing. This may include fitting hinges and locks into the cutouts, especially with the custom orders.
 
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate is someone with demonstrated ability operating CNC machinery for sheet metal applications, any experience with basic programming will be looked upon favourably. It is paramount that each job is carried out correctly and to specification the first time, so taking pride in the finished product is required to be successful in this role.
