Key Points:
- $70k + super
- Newly renovated Wangara office
- Opportunity to influence business operation and processes
Our client is a family-owned producer and distributor of premium smallgoods to retailers and hospitality outlets across the whole of WA. Their passion for providing a high-quality product and outstanding customer service has been passed down through three generations and led to an ever-increasing customer book. Currently, they are looking to add an experienced Bookkeeper to their administrative team, based out of their newly renovated Wangara site.
About the role:
As the sole Bookkeeper in a small but growing business, the role will be both busy and diverse in nature. The day-to-day will see you managing Accounts Payable / Receivable, reconciling and invoicing, and liaising with clients. Additionally, the client is going to be implementing new software into the business and will look to you for guidance on the most suitable ways to use it for their business. While the role is all encompassing, there is plenty of support provided from both Senior Management and their External Business Accountant to ensure your success.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will be looking for fast-paced work in an environment that they provide subtle influence over the processes and procedures. Given the variety in the day, it is imperative you are well organised and a good, rational communicator. Extensive experience with MYOB and Xero will be essential, along with accurate data entry and a strong attention to detail. This role will suit applicants coming from similar small business backgrounds, as well as those who may have been “pigeonholed” in a particular area for a larger employer and are looking for a more diverse workday.
