About the Role
Our client is a Australian owned and operated supplier of automotive and heavy duty air-conditioning parts, servicing customers nationwide for over 50 years. Due to an ever-increasing demand, they are looking to add a motivated and reliable Storeperson to their team. This is a varied, hands-on role responsible for the efficient movement of stock through the warehouse, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately while maintaining a safe and organised workplace.The ideal candidate is proactive, takes pride in their work, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming stock.
- Load and unload deliveries using a forklift.
- Accurately put stock away and replenish warehouse locations.
- Assist with stocktakes and inventory control.
- Maintain warehouse organisation and housekeeping standards.
- Ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse and operations team to meet daily targets.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or storeperson role.
- A current LF Forklift Licence.
- Experience operating forklifts safely and confidently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
- Experience using warehouse management systems or RF scanners is advantageous.
