IRP: Industrial Recruitment Partners

About IRP.

Industrial Recruitment Partners (IRP) has been embedded in Western Australia’s industrial sector since 2006, building a reputation as a trusted partner to manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and trade businesses across Perth.

Focused exclusively on the local industrial market, rather than metropolitan, IRP understands the operational realities, workforce pressures, and performance demands unique to this sector.

Every engagement begins on-site. Because without a firsthand understanding of your equipment, workflows, environment, and team dynamics, recruitment is guesswork.

This grounded, site-led approach ensures every hire is aligned to how your business operates, strengthening performance, not just filling roles.

Our core values create long term client relationships.

Our core values define who we are and what actions we take. They're the reason why clients continue to work with us over the longer term.

Ownership

We recruit with your long-term productivity in mind.

Delivery

Responsive, accountable and focused on outcomes.

Empathy

We understand the pressure supervisors and operations managers carry.

There's no one-size-fits-all approach to recruitment.

Every business operates differently - and so do its workforce needs. Whether you require short-term capability, a pathway to permanent hire, or long-term team growth, IRP provides recruitment solutions aligned to how your operation runs and what it needs to perform.

Contract

Short to mid-term contract placements are ideal for businesses requiring flexibility in their workforce due to fluctuations in workload. We know in these situations it is imperative that external staff hit the ground running and are retained for the duration of the project / temporary fluctuation.

We work regularly with businesses in this space. We understand their requirements. We know the type of candidate who will be provide value in their environment. We are prepared, not reactive.

Temp to Perm

The ultimate try before you buy for businesses looking to bolster their workforce. We advertise and source for the role specifically, no plucking from databases and hoping. The candidates aware the aim of the role is long term permanent employment and are mentored / managed accordingly.

Our in depth understanding of the business, role, and culture provides a basis for productive candidates who contribute positively to all aspects of the operation. Our relationship centric approach to post-placement care mitigates common problems associated with external employment contractors.

Supervisors focus on high level activities. Employees are retained long term. The workforce is stable and productive.

Perm

Permanent placements are the ideal option to fill roles for skilled trades or senior management. The time spent scoping and understanding all aspects of a clients’ business operation is crucial to our success in this area.

Through this understanding, we build a profile of the ideal applicant and tailor our advertising and screening to attract the people who truly fit the role in question.

A detail driven process, resulting in the presentation of highly suitable applicants who are genuinely motivated for the role on offer. We understand your time is valuable, and don’t waste it asking you to review applicants who don’t completely fit the brief.

Interviews are a positive experience. Candidates selected bring real value to core areas of your business.

We Recruit Differently.

Most recruitment starts with a job description. Ours starts on your site.

In industrial environments, performance isn’t defined on paper, it’s shaped by machinery, workflows, leadership, and team dynamics. Without that context, recruitment is guesswork.

IRP was founded in 2006 with a clear objective: to be a long-term partner to WA industry, not a transactional supplier. That means taking the time to understand how your business actually operates, so every hire is aligned to your environment, not just the role.

  1. 01

Better fit from day one - people with the skills and behaviours to succeed in your operation.

  2. 02

Stronger performance over time - hires who develop, contribute, and stay.

Placing the right person isn't the end of our service. It's the start of building capability, productivity, and future leaders within your business.

The Costs of a Mis-Hire

When hiring goes wrong, the impacts are profound and immediate.

  • Production efficiency drops
  • Key staff spend their time training and covering production gaps, rather than high-value activities
  • Middle management carry increased pressure
  • Safety risks increase
  • Team cohesion and momentum are disrupted
  • A culture of high turnover develops
  • Risk of losing senior staff increases
  • Output and profitability decrease

If recruitment challenges are affecting your production, ability to plan, or staff retention, we have solutions - and it's worth a conversation.

Speak with IRP

The problem with standard recruitment is that it's surface level.

IRP works beneath the surface, understanding your operation in detail before going to market. Because what happens there is what ultimately drives performance.

The IRP 5-Step Approach

Every business is distinctive in how it operates. The IRP Approach is built around that, so results are never left to chance. Built on a structured, site-led methodology refined over 20 years working inside WA's industrial sector, it combines on-the-ground understanding with real-time market insight to deliver outcomes that last beyond the initial hire.

Step 01

Understand the Operation

On-site, in your environment. We start on-site, building a clear picture of your equipment, workflows, environment, leadership, culture and team dynamics.

Step 02

Align to Market Reality

Grounded in market reality. We provide real-time market conditions insight on candidate availability and wages, so expectations are grounded and realistic.

Step 03

Shape the Role for Success

Define the role for success. We refine job briefs to reflect how the role actually operates, balancing immediate needs with long-term capability. Where talent is scarce, we think laterally, identifying transferable skills, redefining role parameters, and making smart trade-offs to unlock the right hire.

Step 04

Recruit with Context

With context, not guesswork. We assess candidates not just on skills, but on fit, how they'll perform within your specific environment and team, motivations and goals.

Beyond placement Step 05

Support Beyond Placement

Our role doesn't end at placement. We stay engaged to support onboarding, development, and retention, because long-term performance is the goal.

Because recruitment isn't about filling gaps. It's about strengthening how your business performs. That's why recruitment doesn't begin until Step Four.

Let's Work Together.

If you're looking for a recruitment partner who aligns with your business expectations and goals, we'd welcome the conversation.
