About the Role

Our client is currently seeking experienced A-Grade Electricians to join a project in Mt Magnet, Western Australia.This is an excellent opportunity for experienced electricians with a strong background in electrical installation, power and communications cabling, conduit installation, and cable testing.Working as part of a site team, you will be responsible for installing power and communications cables, completing conduit work, testing cables prior to energisation, and ensuring all test results are accurately recorded and documented.

We are looking for electricians who take pride in their workmanship, understand the importance of safety and quality, and can work effectively within a project environment.The position offers a flat rate of $80.00 per hour, working 12-hour days, with roster flexibility. A 3:1 roster is preferred, although a 2:1 roster can also be accommodated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation, pulling, routing, and termination of power and communications cables.
  • Installation and assembly of electrical conduit and cable containment systems.
  • Testing all cables before energisation, including continuity, insulation resistance, and other required electrical tests.
  • Accurately recording, documenting, and submitting cable test results.
  • Identifying and reporting faults, defects, and installation issues.
  • Assisting with pre-commissioning activities and preparing installations for energisation.
  • Participating in daily toolbox talks, pre-start meetings, and site safety discussions.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
  • Working collaboratively with supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines.
  • Following project specifications, relevant Australian Standards, and site safety procedures.

Required Qualifications and TicketsApplicants must hold:
  • Current WA Electrical Workers Licence.
  • Current CPR and Low Voltage (LV) Rescue certification, completed within the last 12 months.
  • Current Driver’s Licence.
Ideally, You Will Also Have
  • Current medical and drug and alcohol screening (DAS).
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket.
  • Working at Heights ticket.
