·      $36ph - $38ph plus Pens + Super

About the Role

Our client is a market leader in commercial furniture solutions, supplying businesses across Western Australia for more than two decades. They specialise in providing high-quality workplace furniture, including desks, workstations, seating and storage solutions. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Entry-Level CNC Operator to join their team in Canning Vale. 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in CNC machining and manufacturing, with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with materials such as laminated board, MDF, particleboard and timber products. The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training and work alongside an experienced team, developing valuable skills in CNC machine operation, production and quality control.

About You
  • Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
  • Mechanically minded with a willingness to learn
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced workshop environment
  • Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling
  • Previous manufacturing or workshop experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Current Forklift Licence (LF) required
  • CNC experience or relevant trade qualifications are advantageous but not essential
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate CNC machinery following training and procedures
  • Load and unload materials and components
  • Perform basic quality checks and measurements
  • Assist with production and workshop duties
  • Operate a forklift to move materials safely around the facility
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures
