Fabrication/Mechanical Trade Assistants Contract / Full Time

We are currently seeking experienced Trade Assistants who are familiar with engineering, mechanical or fabrication workshops.

If you have a background in working with Boilermakers, Welders, Mechanical Fitters or Machine Operators & are not afraid of a good day’s work, then we have opportunities for you!

To be successful for this role you will need:

• Workshop background
• Handy with a variety of hand and power tools
• Hard working nature and a good work ethic
• Able to take direction and show initiative working as part of a team and individually
• Physically fit & willing to do manual labour when required
• Valid Drivers License
• Full Australian work rights

Desirable:

• Experience operating an OH Gantry crane
• Valid Forklift licence and experience
• Experience in machine operation highly regarded
• Experience with Rail components 
• Previously done 2nd class Mechanical Fitting or Fabrication/Welding (qualifications NOT required)
