IRP Win WALGA Recruitment Tender
Industrial Recruitment Partners (IRP), today announced that after a highly competitive tender process the West Australian Local Government Association (WALGA) has selected IRP as a preferred supplier for the provision of temporary personnel services to all local governments across Western Australia.
As a preferred supplier, IRP will be tasked with the sourcing, screening and placement of workers into local government sectors including Corporate & Governance Services, Engineering & Infrastructure Services, Parks & Garden Operations, and Fleet, Waste & Works Operations.
Central to this nomination was the decision by IRP in 2017 to increase its depth of knowledge within the Local Government sector with the appointment of Senior Recruitment Consultant, Kate Barr. Ms Barr brought with her 15 years of recruitment experience with a significant focus on Local Government clients where she managed both white and blue collar positions across Western Australia.
Having a strong background in the management of labour across many high-risk industries, IRP have developed stringent pre-screening and ongoing candidate management systems that have seen record low workplace injuries year on year; and were publically recognised by insurance broker Interlink and insurer QBE for this achievement.
